Natrolite & Julgoldite & Prehnite

Classic paragenesis from the abandoned quarry of Kreimbach !!. On one side of a Calcite vein there are colourless columnar crystals of the zeolite mineral Natrolite. These well shaped Natrolite crystals are lustrous and transparent and even show beautiful pyramidal tops.
 
The other side shows white Calcite crystals with bright green Prehnite spheres and greenish-black Julgoldite aggregates. Julgoldite is a rare iron-silicate.
